Tension: The knits have been designed for the yarns specified
in the patterns. Other yarns are likely to produce different results.
Knit up a tension swatch in the specified yarn to check against
the tension required. If fewer stitches, use smaller needles until
correct; if more stitches, use bigger needles. Yarn quantities
given are approximate.
Turning: When pattern specifies turn, proceed as follows to
avoid holes in your work —
take yarn under needle and onto
other side of work, slip next st onto right-hand needle, take yarn
under needle and back to original position, slip st back onto left-
hand needle, then turn and proceed as instructed.
SH3 Remember to check the ball bands to ensure all
is from the same dye lot.
